[For a few minutes, John just stares at the screen. The green text and speech patterns are kind of tickling something in his brain, but that was so long ago that he's having trouble remembering exactly why it seems familiar. That and the fact that the resemblance between himself and this guy is so uncanny he's having trouble focusing on much of anything else. I mean, really, save for the fact that his haircut is a little different and he's maybe a year or so older than John, the two could be twins.]

[Eventually, he clicks the feed on and.......just stares. He was going to say something, but then he realized that he had no idea what that something was. Clearly, Jake, you are dealing with a conversational genius here.]

Well, the whole dream bubble business is pretty complicated, and I only have limited understanding of it. I only know for sure that we have to be unconscious in order to enter one or some such. At least, that's how I've been unwittingly blundering into them nowadays.

Oh, goodness, I'm not the best person to ask that sort of question. I've only been there once before. It's...kind of like an extremely vivid dream or memory that you can only get there by being unconscious.

Yes, most of it all has been explained to me. The whole changing of appearances for those who aren't strictly human and the different times people come from...is that normal? I mean, it seems odd.

I'm by no means an expert, having been there only once myself. It's a pretty surreal experience. It's basically an extremely vivid dream, but it's mostly full of dead people? I mean, you can talk to their souls and basically interact with them like they were flesh and blood, but they're still...well, dead. It's really strange.

I think they're always excited to meet their new partner. It's the start of a journey for you both, after all. Usually they'll calm down after you start traveling and battling though.

Newly caught Pokémon are usually less excited. At least until they get used to being with you.
