[Video] 02nd Page

[Well, Jake is currently on the road to Viridian City Violet City. He's currently resting somewhere off the road, and he looks a mite hassled.]

I've got two questions I'd like to pose at the moment. My first question is how do you feed a possessed candle when the Pokedex says that it feeds off of the life force of humans and Pokemon? Really, I'm all for survival and taking good care of your Pokemon and all that, but I'm not about to kill myself for it.

My sec--YEOWCH!

[That's about when he flails a little, sighs in exasperation, and holds up his hand. Dangling from it is a Totodile, who looks quite content to be chomping down on Jake's hand.]

How in frig's flipping sake do you get Totodiles to not bite you every time they leave the Pokeball?!

[He should've gone for the cat. But no, he wanted the cool blue alligator baby.]

[When it comes to ghost types, you will find that he is simply the best there is. That's right: suck it, Morty.]

Whenever they're hungry, of course! For Chandel, that's usually around a week or so. But she ate a lot more right after she hatched. She's about six months old now though so she kind of slowed down a bit.

Hooopefully it won't be, especially since its jaws are bound to get stronger. Some pokemon grow out of habits after the evolve, though. So maybe you'll get lucky with your Totodile.

[Cover yourself in hot sauce, Jake. Surely this will ward off the chomps.]

Well he should eventually get to a point where you don't have to do anything to get him to stop. But something a simple as a tap and a clear command should be enough to get him to stop while you're still training him. You just have to be consistent and firm with him. It's like teaching a kid...at least I assume that's what it's like. But it sounds like you landed a reasonable one, so you should be fine.

[He's been a kid, but he's never actually raised one before so...]

Ahaaa...yeah. Is it a malicious bite though? Or just like...a playful nibble?
ghostytrainer: (well you see i made myself in a lab.)

If there's one type you don't want to hate you, it's ghosts. I mean...you don't want any pokemon to hate you but ghosts can and will make your life hell.

[Seriously, have you read some of those pokedex entries...]

Anyway, that kinda sounds kind of like a baby thing to me. I have had a few that were overly enthusiastic and energetic when they were younger but mellowed out as they got older and evolved. [A beat.] And then I have two who didn't. And one of them is a nine foot ghost-rock so you can imagine what that's like sometimes. Hopefully you will get lucky in that regard.

What, with Giant? Well luckily he's not like...a hugger or a biter or anything. So nobody really gets hurt it's just that he's a little overzealous when it comes to helping out. To the point where sometimes he makes a mess more than anything else. He means well, but...

[But he's too big to go inside buildings and it's a lot harder to just say "awww how cute" like everyone did before he evolved.]
ghostytrainer: (god that's gold! hahaha!)

Oh jeez, I didn't even think of that. Ahaha, wow you might have to watch out for that. Trading in nubs for fully-fledged limbs can sometimes be a dangerous thing, you know?

[He giggles.]

But yeah, I know he does so I can't really be mad at him for it. But still, I can't help but wish he had mellowed out at least a liiiittle bit when he evolved.
