[Well, Jake is currently on the road to ~~Viridian City~~ Violet City. He's currently resting somewhere off the road, and he looks a mite hassled.]

I've got two questions I'd like to pose at the moment. My first question is how do you feed a possessed candle when the Pokedex says that it feeds off of the life force of humans and Pokemon? Really, I'm all for survival and taking good care of your Pokemon and all that, but I'm not about to kill myself for it.

[That's about when he flails a little, sighs in exasperation, and holds up his hand. Dangling from it is a Totodile, who looks quite content to be chomping down on Jake's hand.]

How in frig's flipping sake do you get Totodiles to not bite you every time they leave the Pokeball?!

[He should've gone for the cat. But no, he wanted the cool blue alligator baby.]

Oh sure!
Im not sure about computers but hes excellent at creating robots.
I suppose sewing is another thing hes good at.
At least making puppets is for sure.
Dirk can be insufferable and hard to deal with sometimes but he means well and hes a really good friend to have.

A computer genius, a roboticist, and a budding Pokemon trainer. And I'm sure your last friend is equally talented in his or her own rights, too?

I hope they do find their way to you. I don't mind a little insufferability or a challenge, and I imagine the experience of meeting the four of you would be almost...nostalgic.

Jane is an excellent baker and an amateur sleuth in the making.
Well and she dabbles a bit in magic and pranking.
She and dirk are probably the most level headed of the four of us haha!
Janes more of a seeing is believing person in somewhat of an extreme sense.

An amateur sleuth? It sounds as though I'd get along with all of them.

I knew a set of extraordinary children in my own world. But I haven't been so lucky as to have them follow me here.

Should i warn them that youll be difficult to get a hold of?

Theres always a chance they will.
I hope they come here at some point!

Mostly because I suspect he's trying to write you an executable file of manners for your Totodile as we speak.

Oh well i thought it best if i left it to you to tell him that might not be the best way to teach a totodile manners.
I dont think i could do the explanation justice.

I wouldn't want to disillusion him. He once wrote me an antivirus when I was concerned about getting sick.

But he'll understand if you want to go about it your own way. Independence and initiative are things worth encouraging in humans and Pokemon alike.

Haha i wouldnt say no to some tips to help me get on the right path!
Sometimes its more fun to have a collaborative effort.

Then I can tell you that the principles of conditioning would say the way to get her to stop biting is to link the act of biting to something she finds aversive — an unpleasant noise, a bad taste. Eventually she'll start associating the two, and that should decrease the behavior.

Figuring out how to do it, on the other hand, is a mystery you'll have to unravel for yourself.

Sounds like something i can do fairly easily on the road then.
Im more of an adventurer than a sleuth but i think i can figure it out.
