Well, I just got my first badge in Johto!

Though, I don't think Gym Leader Falkner really appreciated how it all went. Eheh....

[Stripes snorts and looks like he could take on anybody. Someone got an ego boost after a successful gym battle.]

What's the second gym like, now that I'm thinking of it? I've only heard that the Goldenrod City gym has...some issues.

Yes, I do! And yes, I have. Growlithe was my starter, actually! [She's also got at least four other dog Pokémon.]

Excellent! I'm experiencing problems with my own Growlithe. He's having an awful time letting people he doesn't know anywhere near me! I don't know if that's normal behavior, and neither do I know how to discipline him without discouraging his watch dog nature.

That's pretty normal for Growlithe, I think! Bec was like that, too. What I ended up doing was keeping treats with me and taking them out whenever people I knew approached. I made sure he saw the treat, and he'd be so focused on it that he wouldn't bark or try to go after them. I always made sure he got a treat and some praise afterwards, and he eventually stopped barking at everyone he saw.
