If I may respectfully and politely point out, it's not just Route_29, but I'm on hiatus in all of my current games.
I appreciate your concern, anon, I truly do! However, I don't particularly feel as if I am stretching myself too thin? I'm quite happy with only having Mom and Jake in Route, and, indeed, with the amount of characters I play in other games! One of the games I'm in is decently slow, and as such I feel pretty okay with adding one more character to it. If it had been as fast as Route, then I would probably would have decided against it. I know that I can't handle three characters in Route_29 for certain, so I'm content to keep it at two here and keep the same relative numbers in the other games, too.
I also concede that I haven't been making any or many plotting posts on my Plurk, which I'll do probably tomorrow. Of course, even if you aren't on my Plurk, I'd be glad to have you PM me or IM me for any plots you wish to do with my characters!
Thank you, anon, I'm certainly considering what you've told me! And I do believe you're correct in everything you've told me. A very small note, however, is that I've dropped Entranceway completely.
With his characterization, yes, I think you're right that I've been playing him too sweetly. I'm going to take your advice on a canon review for him. I think it would be smart of me to instead look at how he words things instead of what words he uses. As far as Mom is concerned, you raise very good points and I agree with you on all of them.
Agreeing is all well and good, but I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I'm going to drop Jake at Route, but keep Mom and focus more on her in this game since it's apparent that I can only juggle one character here. The canon review on Jake will happen, and I'm hoping to make him sound more like himself in Vatheon. The reason I'm keeping Mom is because there's only going to be one of her, and I want to make it count. Plus, as you said, Jake should be far more active than he has been and I owe it to my cast!
Thank you for not sugarcoating, anon, I appreciate that you respect me enough for it.
