Im finishing up my training before going to take on bugsy. I feel sort of bad for taking him on with my pokemon as they are. :( I mean a good portion of them are in their mid 70s! And i dont think his pokemon are even scratching the surface of 40.
well i dont think thats something that can really be helped since we sort of went unlinear there at the very least you should be on track for goldenrods gym?
True. Ah well. Yes! Actually theres a strategy im coming up with to take her on! But first i need to see if it passes muster with bugsys scizor. If it does then i think ill have a way to beat her that wont be terribly taxing on my pokemon.
Well keira just recently learned perish song. So i was thinking that once i got bugsy down to just using his scizor id use her and then switch her out with say stripes. I mean bug moves are at a distinct advantage over dark types so if she can get out with minimal damage then i think its something worth pursuing in the next gym. Especially since my type advantages over her are primarily male and she has a female miltank with attract! Keira being female could get in that perish song and then i could switch her out with noah. Since hes a steel type then miltank wont be able to do much against him and it wouldnt matter that hed be under attract because perish song would finish it off regardless.
thats actually an incredibly smart strategy jake!! considering how much trouble people seem to have with whitney i think that might work? i mean if it works on bugsy im even more excited to see your battle now :o
Haha you can thank morty for that. After that match with him i realized that i needed to work harder at strategizing rather than just powering through. So if it works then im definitely using it on her! But phew im glad it didnt sound like a totally terrible plan to work with.
