You know, Cianwood is a pretty neat island all on its own, but....

It's not...what I expected. Then again, I come from a more tropical island, so perhaps this is normal? I'm used to a more rainforest kind of setting, and this...certainly isn't it.

[Jake shrugs.]

I mean, I'm not complaining about it or anything like that! Maybe it's for the best, though. I might have gotten homesick.

[How you get homesick for Murder Island is a mystery for the ages.]

I'm about to go up against the Gym Leader, too! [He takes out a Pokeball and opens it to release Robin Williams the Emolga from it.] I think Robin--

[All of a sudden, he hears a noise. Jake looks utterly confused because he's pretty sure that nobody in his party has a Pichu, and then, abruptly, the Pichu is chasing Robin all over him. He flails, loses his balance, and falls. The Gear falls with him to show that he's hit his head against a rock and he's out like a light.

[As much as she hated/feared the ocean, she couldn't deprive Zoa from a source of water while she was in Cianwood. Why no, that could lead to disastrous results...or just leave the girl feeling guilty about depriving her pokemon of happiness.]

[Yumi was just looking through her pokegear when she heard the commotion happened and looked up in time just to see Jake hit his head against the rock. She knew from personal experience that was not going to have pretty results.]

[After she quickly recalled the Tentacool back into his ball, Yumi's just going to run over to check up on you, ok Jake?]

Guess who was at work when this went up, so this comes about an hour and a half late. Aradia's still in her work clothes, even, having just gotten off and checked in on the network. ]

Jake? Do I need to call Dirk - actually, why didn't I do that first...? [ Talking to herself. SURELY SOMEONE HAS SOLVED THIS BY NOW, but still. ]

[ Generally speaking, being awakened by one of your Pokemon before your ready is an unpleasant experience. Being awakened by one of your Pokemon to observe another of your Pokemon that should be in his ball in a broadcast you're fairly sure is being shot in another region that just so happens to end with one of your kids being knocked out by said Pokemon? There is no 'arguably' about it. It's worse and worse still given that some time has elapsed since the initial broadcast if her clock reads right. It's enough to have Valeria's eyes widening and head lifting as she reaches to take the Gear from her Riolu and push herself up to better observe the screen. ]
